03 / About me
Hello,
I’m Mackenzie.
A Canadian actress in Toronto, with a love for old cinema and the stories still waiting to be told.
I’m studying Book & Media Studies and Drama at the University of Toronto. Acting is at the centre of what I do, but my curiosity reaches across film, television and the creative work that brings a story to an audience.

The way I see it
A little old cinema.
A little interruption.
I’ve always been drawn to the glamour, elegance and mystery of old cinema. I love its sense of storytelling, and the contrast of bringing something bold, colourful and contemporary into that world.
My performance development includes scene work, character analysis, movement and voice. I’m continuing to learn through performance, collaboration and experiences that challenge me to grow.
Studying media alongside drama has also made me interested in what happens beyond the performance: how projects are developed and produced, and how they find their audiences.
A wider perspective
People are
part of the story.
At the Toronto International Film Festival, I volunteered with visitors, media and press at festival venues. As a Student Marketeer with Red Bull Canada, I work on campus and community activations and audience engagement.
Years in hospitality have taught me to listen, adapt and work closely with others. Those experiences have shaped the professionalism and attention I bring into a creative environment.
